Join us as we plog the Newport Rhode Race Marathon course after the runners!

Ploggers (those who pick up trash while jogging) AND plockers (those who pick up trash while walking) are invited to help us clean up in Newport in Middletown along the Newport Rhode Races and Events Route as runners clear out. The more volunteers that sign up, the less distance each plogger will need to cover. So please, unless you want to plog a whole marathon, share this opportunity!

We will provide clean up materials of bags and gloves for all. We will also have goody bags available as a thank you to plogging and plocking volunteers that are made up with items from sponsors including, but not limited to: Nuun hydration, The Donut Shack, Mermaid Straw, Open Water, Sunmaid Raisins, and Emmy’s Organics.

By plogging with us, you are supporting ERICD’s mission to conserve our local natural resources. More details including starting locations will be shared with registered volunteers prior to race day.
