The Rhode Island conservation districts will hold a Local Working Group Meeting on March 21, from 10-11:30 am via Zoom. Local working groups provide recommendations to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service on local and state natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs. The meetings are open to the public.

The Local Working Group is an open forum for farmers, forest landowners and the general public to discuss issues related to natural resources. These discussions inform statewide programs and policies.
